Nordlys IPL

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) utilises a broad spectrum of wavelengths to target specific skin concerns such as pigmentation, redness, telangiectasia (blood vessels), skin-ageing, dull skin, increased pores and scarring.

How Does Nordlys IPL Differ From Other IPL Systems?

The Nordlys IPL system has a distinguishing feature compared to other IPL systems on the market. It incorporates a double-filter in the VL (555nm to 950nm) and PR (530nm to 750nm) applicators. These filters are designed to restrict the effect of IPL so that it primarily targets the intended areas while minimising the impact on unnecessary targets, such as water in the skin. By doing so, it aims to improve the efficacy of the treatment, reduce potential damage to the skin, and offer a less painful experience compared to other IPL systems.

While dietary changes may not be a standalone solution for acne, they can certainly help accelerate the progress of acne treatment and improve overall skin health. Combining a healthy diet with medical treatments can provide the best results in managing acne and preventing further scarring.

The treatments typically involve minimal discomfort, have fewer risks and complications, and require little to no downtime.
