The most common complications associated with botulinum toxin Masseter/Jaw slimming injections are temporary and include bruising, swelling, redness, and pain at the injection site. There is also a small risk of infection or allergic reaction.

Less common but potentially more serious complications include -

• Weakening of nearby muscles, which can cause drooping or asymmetry of the face
